Mozzarella Pizzeria: Authentic Italian Flavors in Hermitage, TN

They paid for youtube adds which reminded me that this place exists so I'll leave a review. I head in sometimes after games at the gamekeep just up the street. They are cool with wizard hats. The pizza is cooked when you order it. It has a nice crispy crust. The kitchen times things to go out within a few minutes of each other so noone is just sitting waiting or being served cold food. They had different crust options last time I went. I think it is better than ordering from any place like dominoes or papa John's. Slightly cheaper depending on what you get toppings wise. I have never come in to it being crowded probably because of the location.

Mozzarella Pizzeria might not sit in the flashiest spot in town, but don’t let the location fool you. This place is turning out some seriously good food with service that matches. My family and I stopped in for dinner, and everything we ordered hit the mark. We started with the cheese bread, which came out golden, cheesy, and brushed with herbs. Crispy on the edges, soft in the center, and paired perfectly with their marinara for dipping. The garlic parmesan wings were another win: crispy skin, juicy meat, and drenched in a rich, buttery sauce that didn’t skimp on garlic or flavor. For mains, I went with the spaghetti and meat sauce to share with my girls. The sauce was hearty, loaded with ground beef, and had that old-school Italian comfort flavor that doesn’t need fixing. My wife ordered the chicken Alfredo, and that dish could’ve stolen the show. Creamy, rich sauce, perfectly cooked pasta, tender chicken, and a solid hit of Parmesan on top. They even have a “call” button on each table, so you don’t have to wave your arms like you’re signaling for a plane to land. When you’re ready, you hit the button, and your server is there in seconds. Simple, smart, and effective. Bottom line: Mozzarella Pizzeria proves that great food doesn’t need a fancy address. It’s a local gem serving quality Italian comfort food with service that actually makes you feel taken care of.

This place is awesome! I got the broccoli chicken creamy pesto pasta and it was delicious. Our pasta entrees also came with garlic knots that were tasty. The gentleman working was so helpful, he was managing the front of house by himself but was very friendly and attentive to everyone. I noticed the restaurant was really well kept up, nice and clean, and they were playing soothing Italian music. I can’t wait to come back.

Stromboli was had. Came in simply to see a to go menu and leave. However, a small conversation with the owner and his daughter had me sold. I started telling others about it immediately, now I’m here. Locals seem to know it is a good place, they made it through COVID and that says a lot. All products made in house. Will be back. Good feel, good food, great family owners; the kind of place I want to keep open!

Stopped to have a meal with an old friend and catch up. Casual atmosphere, not at all noisy. The staff was friendly and the right amount of attentive. Food was good. Two people had pasta dishes, and I had a small "house" pizza. Great flavor. I would recommend.

This has been a staple at our home for years since moving to hermitage. Food is delicious and has been warm when delivered. Taste consistency is really important as well and they nail that on the head. My only gripes are that while gradual price increases are expected, a recent $3-5 price increase in some items without explanation didn’t sit well. Transparency regarding price changes would be appreciated - and the cost can definitely be excused. Also, the delivery seems to have been outsourced which is also has increased cost and in my experience, slightly decreased the quality of service. That being said, any delivery issues that arise are quickly corrected by the owner or staff. All in all, this is a fantastic local restaurant that deserves more recognition. My hope is that they don’t lose their identity of being a semi-affordable and tasty alternative to chain restaurants like Olive Garden and so on.

The bread guys, the bread is S-tier. I got the mushroom risotto which was amazing and imagine my surprise when they served it with the best tasting bread I’ve ever had in my life, could be the first time I’ve had real bread. Made and baked in house. 5 stars. Definitely my favorite place to eat now.

My bf and I wanted to try mozzarella pizzeria for the first time and I'll admit it I wasn't sure looking from outside, but lessoned learned don't judge a book by its cover. I got the Philly cheese steak and it was so good almost rivaling my fav cheese steak place Charley's! My bf got the mushroom risotto and in house made bread knots! We will definitely be back!
